From all I've seen I feel like the biggest difference between Windows Vista and Windows 7 is the speed, and if you have a good computer then that problem is eliminated. Is there anything else with Windows 7 that will improve my computer experience radically, really?

Any links?

Do you have to download and install the whole of windows 7 again or can you just upgrade?

Changes from build 7000 :

1. The new sidebar color that was shown in previous screenshots.
2. New Paint, as we saw in previous screenshots.
3. HomeGroup gets a new icon.
4. IE8 updated to RC1
5. Faster search in start menu, instant.
6. General higher stability in OS
7. New animations when moving between things in Windows Explorer
8. Desktop Gadget Gallery is the new name for Sidebar. It gets a new icon!

I am adding download links in the preminum section, so far mininova has been leech more than i downloaded.

Edit: Added link to premium section :)

I am wondering what you did to get the "About Windows" Window to show up?

Posted Image

Where do you go to get that window to pop up?

When is the final retail version going to be released?

Probably at the end of 2009, there is no official release date yet :)

Have they sorted out the video thumbnails in explorer? Annoying why they've gone back to xp style whereby it chooses the 1st frame of the video which 99% of the time means a black thumbnail

Windows 7 should be Vista SP2, its not worth the money to up-grade.
