you guys have some recommendations to tweak the resources on vista? the essentials to boot up.

Glary Utilities is a great tool to use to help you customize your vista. It has a great context menu editor also included in it, which I really like.

Or you can go into the services menu under computer management and adjust the settings for different services that are not needed for 99% of pc users. You can also use the built-in "msconfig" to turn off some services. If you are not sure what the purpose of something is, you can always google the service to find out what it does.

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, if not just let us know.
