In Germany, the file-hosting service Rapidshare has handed over the personal details of alleged copyright infringers to several major record labels. The information is used to pursue legal action against the Rapidshare users and at least one alleged uploader saw his house raided.

That was from torrentfreak. the rest of the article can be found here http://torrentfreak....holders-090425/

Let's all migrate to megashares! Trust me it's so much cheaper and I always max out my speed when using IDM.

I just got an email from Rapidshare.COM telling me amy account is terminated due to downloading, and i had just extended for 4 months, the wankers.
i had been using rapidshare for almost 2 years. something doesn't smell right here. I reckon their ass is getting chewed by someone! anybody else getting similar or know anything more about what is going on with them?

hi again
just recieved an email back from rapidshare and it seems i got phished (how the hell didi that happen?)
so anyone who gets one of these should immediately contact rapidshare support and let them know and your account will be reset and you will be back in control again :w00t:
