hey everyone,

now that you can download/install your xbox 360 games to its hard drive is it possible to just burn a simple image of the disk and use that to run the game.
what im trying to figure out if i can do is to see if i were to borrow games from friends and download onto my xbox's hard drive if i would be able to play the game once i give them the disk back. Because you still need the disk to play the game but im wondering if its just a simple matter of the xbox checking to make sure that the disk is there or if its more complex. Is it possible to just burn an image onto a disk and just use that to play the game once its on the hard drive?

It would be possible if you had an xbox360 chip, but then you could just play from you copy

a.) no xbox 360 games can not be stored on the Hard drive of the console itself you can store the disk on it but once you do that you will always require the disk to be inside the drive at all times

Now if u want to make a copy of your friends disk then you can but you will need a Xbox 360 drive flashed with a 0800 firmware. what the 0800 firmware does is allow Windows to read you drive and read "secret" files off of it

in order for you to play these "backups" aka burned games to a disc you will need to have a 360 drive with a modified firmware on it to allow it to play these backups.... if you do not do that when you put your burn in it takes you to a screen saying "In order to play this game please put it in a Xbox 360 console"

so really you might wanna just download backups and have someone flash it for you...

If you wanna do your own back ups then I sell the 0800 as well as modifying service for the Xbox 360....

nah kreon drives are bad since the give a negative result for the ss

0800 are the best since they truely are the only ones that can read the disc properly

They can only be ripped with a Blu-ray drive. Go get one of those, then come back and we can talk more.
