About Me
I'm Andy and I am 22 years of age. I suppose I am a bit of a geek when it comes to technology, I have to have the latest tech gadgets, I also love to learn new things such as creating videos and images exploring my creativity. I spend a good deal of time online both at work and at home in spare time, moderating and handling various websites across the net.
Absolutely love movies, it gives me time to chillax and escape for a brief moment the grinding routine of daily life. Favourite TV has to be shows such as Fawlty Towers, Only Fools & Horses, Bottom, Red Dwarf, Mr Bean, On the Buses, The Detectives to name a few.
Favourite football team is Manchester United ever since I was young. Most memorable moment was the 1999 Uefa Champions League Final between Bayern Munich and Manchester United, I was 12 at the time and was watching with friends / family and I had goose bumps, it was a very intense and what seemed to be a surreal moment. From defeat to winning in a matter of minutes.
I do not follow music genres in particular. I like / dislike artists songs so I am not one of these people who has to buy every single / album an artist releases.
Been an avid gamer since I was young.
I am an ex-WoW player, played that game on and off for 2-3 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the community aspect the game offered, the people I played with practically became a second family to me. Had a great time with them on Ventrilo.
Been away from the game for 15 months now but may return to the game at some point in the future. Favourite achievement in the game has to be when my guild defeated C'Thun for the first time. We spent 3 weeks on that encounter and it was a huge relief and great team effort, it was also one of the most fun encounters in the entire game.
[Update] Returned to WoW in Feb '10 for a 2 month period only to find the game has deteriorated severely. The game now doesn't focus on a players ability to play the various classes, but a thing called GearScore rules the game. Without a high GS and achievements you cannot get a group for anything. I've read that people can play rubbish but as long as their GS is high enough they will be accepted to raid encounters.
